Crop:

Buckwheat, or beech wheat: derives its name from the fact that its seeds resemble smaller versions of beech tree nuts.

Tree:

Prunus salicina, or the Sweet Treat Pluot Tree: produces a fruit commonly referred to as the Chinese or Japanese Plum.

Castanea mollissima, or the Chinese Chestnut Tree: is one of four main species of chestnut tree — the others being European, Japanese, and American.

The Auxois Horse: is a large breed from France bred for heavy agricultural work.
